Questions

About donating.

Is DRN Foundation a registered non-profit?

Yes. DRN Foundation is a registered Nigerian non-profit organisation. Our registration details and annual report are available on request — just write to us.

Where exactly does my donation go?

Into the programme you choose and, where you do not choose, into the area of greatest need that month. Programme costs are published in the annual report, and every disbursement is signed off by the treasurer.

Can I sponsor a specific child?

Yes. We can match you with a child on the education register, and you will receive termly updates and results with the family’s consent. Children are never named publicly.

Do you accept goods instead of money?

We do — clean clothing, bedding, school materials, food staples and children’s gifts. Please message us before bringing items so we can tell you what is actually needed that month.

How do I become a volunteer?

Fill the volunteer form on the volunteer page. We will invite you to the next outreach briefing. Volunteers under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent.

Do you work outside Lagos?

Our programmes run across Lagos communities, with occasional outreach along the Lagos–Ibadan corridor. We expand into a new community only when we have a reliable local partner there.

Can my company partner with you?

Yes. We run CSR partnerships, staff volunteering days and matched-giving. Write to us and we will come and present the programme you would be funding.

How do you choose who receives support?

Through partner churches, mosques and community leaders, plus a home visit before anyone is added to a list. Support goes to those who genuinely cannot manage — not to whoever asks loudest.

Can I visit a project?

Yes, by arrangement. We will take you to a distribution day or a training session so you can see the work directly rather than through a report.
